It is rather a process that culminates in an annual Summit at which the Heads of State and Government of the member countries hold talks with a view to finding solutions of the main world issues. &nbsp; The main industrialised countries taking part in this process are known as the Group of Eight (G8). &nbsp; Over recent years, the Group of Eight has involved the main countries with emerging economies, known as the Group of Five (G5), in a process of dialogue (outreach). &nbsp; G8 Countries &nbsp; The members of the Group of Eight, or G8, are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, ]]></description>
